Job Summary
The Executive Vice President of Acquisitions leads Wasa’s sourcing strategy and oversees major acquisition initiatives. This senior role is responsible for driving deal flow, strengthening market presence, and cultivating high-level relationships with brokers, owners, and industry partners. The EVP plays a critical role in shaping portfolio growth and long-term investment strategy.
Responsibilities
Lead sourcing efforts for industrial acquisitions across priority Southeast markets.
Oversee financial underwriting, valuation, strategic rationale, and deal structuring.
Build and maintain senior-level relationships with institutional owners, intermediaries, and developer networks.
Represent Wasa at industry events, market visits, and strategic meetings.
Collaborate with internal leadership to refine acquisition criteria and portfolio strategy.
Ensure strong pipeline generation through proactive outreach and market intelligence.
Support diligence, negotiations, and closing across complex or high-impact transactions.
Requisites
5+ years of experience in commercial real estate acquisitions, capital markets, or related fields.
Proven track record sourcing and closing industrial or commercial real estate transactions.
Strong relationships with brokers, owners, and market intermediaries.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Advanced proficiency in underwriting and financial analysis.
Self-motivated, strategic thinker with strong leadership capability.
Location
Remote or Southeast-based, with regular travel to Wasa markets.
